Neumann KVG 1120 nx is a capsule extension of about 1200 mm for the Neumann KM A / KM D modular microphone system. It places the KK capsule away from the output stage.

Capsule where the sound is, electronics out of the way

Over a drum kit, a grand piano or a choir the best position is often where a full microphone body would be in the way or visible. The extension carries only the capsule to that spot, with a swivel at the capsule end adjustable through plus or minus 110 degrees.
