Neumann KM 183 Stereo Set — a matched pair of small-diaphragm omni condenser microphones designed for the highest accuracy and natural tone. Featuring a frequency-independent omnidirectional polar pattern, the KM 183 captures every nuance of an acoustic performance without coloration, making it ideal for classical recordings, orchestras, choirs, ambient room capture, and stereo or surround applications.

As part of Neumann’s Series 180, the KM 183 combines precision engineering with transformerless circuitry for a wide dynamic range of 125 dB and an exceptionally low self-noise of only 13 dB-A. Its linear frequency response ensures a transparent and open sound, while a gentle treble rise around 10 kHz adds subtle brilliance, providing accurate detail even in complex arrangements. With the ability to handle SPLs up to 140 dB, the KM 183 Stereo Set delivers reference-grade clarity for both studio and live use.
