Neumann KK 120
Choose options
Neumann KK 120 is a figure-8 capsule head for the Neumann KM A / KM D modular miniature microphone system, finish nickel. Combined with a KM A output stage it forms a complete small-diaphragm microphone.
A true figure-8 for MS and Blumlein
The KK 120 is side-addressed and realises its figure-8 with a single 16 mm diaphragm, so front and rear have identical frequency response and sensitivity. That symmetry is what an MS pair needs for a stable, mono-compatible stereo image.
One system, many microphones
The modular KM system lets you swap capsule heads on the same output stage, or move the capsule away from it with a KVG extension or cable, so one set of electronics covers many recording tasks.
