The DSP-based and doubly amplified Neumann KH 150 studio monitor is the ideal loudspeaker for smaller , high-demand studio spaces or for surround applications in combination with other models of the KH series . Not only does it look great visually, it is also perfect for a wide variety of applications: whether rock/pop productions, voiceover recordings or soundtrack mixing and composition - it simply does it all, and with great precision ! Thanks to its linearity, lowest distortion, lack of colouration and excellent adaptation to any acoustic environment, it is possible to hear every nuance of your tracks and make the right decisions in the Mix.

In particular and compared to its smaller sibling models, the KH150 impresses with a deeper bass response down to 39 Hz. Thus, it almost rivals the larger KH310 ! This is made possible by a new 6.5" high-precision woofer, a carefully designed bass reflex enclosure and DSP-controlled electronics . This way, EDM fans will also get their money's worth. Its top end thus reaches 21kHz and linearises the phase response in an astonishingly transparent midrange sound and extreme accuracy in

the

time domain respectively precise impulse reproduction and finely resolved hal results .

The right sound - no matter where you are

!Even the best loudspeakers only sound as good as the acoustic environment allows. Neumann 's MMD ( Mathematically Modeled Dispersion) waveguide provides a wide sweet spot and minimises desk reflections, while an internal DSP enables room calibration . The latter is made possible by combining Automatic Monitor Alignment and the Neumann MA 1 (sold separately). The DSP-controlled electronics enable sophisticated crossovers and avoid phase distortion caused by analogue filters. At the same time, various switches for shaping the sound are available on the rear panel in addition to ground lift, input select and level .

Efficient in every respectIt is not

just the sound and design that impress: Neumann's engineers have worked meticulously to develop patent-pending amplifier technology that combines excellent audio performance with Class

energy efficiency . Although the monitor amplifiers deliver up to 145 watts ( woofer ) and 100 watts ( tweeter ), only 17 watts are consumed at rest . With the optional Auto Standby mode activated, power consumption can be reduced to 0.3 W when the speaker is not in use .
