Nektar WIDIFLEX USB

Nektar WIDIFLEX USB is a Bluetooth adapter for a USB port that adds wireless MIDI to a computer, a tablet or any device with a USB socket. Transmission runs over Bluetooth BLE MIDI, a standard supported natively by macOS, iOS, Windows and Android.

One USB port instead of a MIDI interface

Plug the adapter into a free USB port and the computer or tablet gains a wireless MIDI input and output. There is no need for an extra interface or a cable run across the room to a keyboard on the other side of the desk.

Wireless MIDI does not have to mean latency

The most common worry about MIDI over Bluetooth is latency. BLE MIDI was designed for musical messages rather than an audio stream, so delay is low and stable. In practice, playing parts and driving parameters, you do not feel a difference — and the cable that always tangled under the desk is gone.
