Nektar Panorama P6

Nektar Panorama P6 is an advanced controller with 61 keys that combines mixer control, instrument and effect plug-in control and transport in one unit. The panel carries 16 encoders, nine 45 mm faders and one 100 mm motorised ALPS fader.

A motorised fader shows what is actually in the project

An ordinary fader stays where you left it after you switch tracks, so its position lies — until you move it you do not know the channel's level. A motorised fader sets itself to the value from the DAW. Working across many channels, that is the difference between control and guesswork.

A keybed with aftertouch, not just a control surface

The keybed offers aftertouch, pitch bend and modulation wheels plus footswitch and expression pedal inputs. Which means one device plays the part and mixes the project — you do not need a separate keyboard beside the control surface. A 3.5-inch colour TFT display in the centre of the panel shows parameter names and values, so you do not have to move your eyes to the computer screen. In total you get direct access to as many as 93 parameters at once.
