Nektar Midiflex 4

Nektar Midiflex 4 is a compact USB MIDI interface with four ports you configure yourself. The key point: it also works without a computer, as a standalone merge and split box.

Four ports you set up for your own rig

Instead of a fixed input and output layout you get a choice: 1 in and 3 out, 2 in and 2 out, or 4 out. Driving three modules from one keyboard? Set 1/3. Tying together two controllers and two synths? Set 2/2. And when you run out of ports, connect a second Midiflex 4 and you have twice as many.

Merge and split without starting the computer

Standalone operation means the hardware rig plays without a laptop: two MIDI sources can be merged into one stream, or one stream distributed to several instruments. On stage and in a computerless studio that is the difference between a working setup and one more device to boot.
