Nektar Aruba is a pad controller built around sixteen large RGB pads. They respond not only to how hard you strike but also to pressure, and sensitivity can be tuned to your own playing — something cheaper controllers simply do not offer.

Pads you do not have to hammer to make them speak

The most common complaint about cheap pads is always the same: either they miss a light hit or everything comes out at one level. Aruba lets you tune the response to yourself, so snare ghost notes and hard kick hits live in the same bar. Pressure after the hit opens a second layer of control for modulation and transitions.

Drum-machine workflow, not a note editor

Aruba drives the work the way a hardware drum machine does: you build a pattern with your fingers instead of drawing notes into a piano roll with a mouse. On top comes DAW and plug-in control, so the same unit handles beats and the mix. Colour illumination shows bank and state without looking at the screen.
