Moog Subsequent 37 Standard

The Moog Subsequent 37 Standard is a parabolic analog synthesizer with a 37-key keyboard, Mono and Duo modes, aftertouch, 256 presets, 2 modulation buses, and an expanded patch section.

The Subsequent 37 parabolic analog synthesizers replaced the flagship Sub 37 Tribute Edition model and were released in a limited series. They will appeal to fans of modular synthesizers, professional musicians, and producers. The most noticeable change is the addition of 4 CV outputs and 2 Gate outputs, which allow the powerful sequencer and modulation generator to be used in conjunction with other modular and voltage-controlled equipment. The sound generator has also been changed, improving the acoustic parameters and doubling the headroom of the original mixer. The changes also include the keyboard, which is now more responsive to touch, has greater sensitivity to presses and aftertouch. An additional advantage is the headphone amplifier.

The original sound generator and synthesizer design is based on the Sub 37 Tribute Edition, which boasts a parabolic synthesizer sound and the ability to play two notes simultaneously. It offers a full palette of sound creation tools, managed by 40 knobs, 74 switches and a separate LCD display. The synthesizer mechanism includes two oscillators, an auxiliary oscillator for sound generation and two LFOs for modulation. The Subsequent 37 also features an arpeggiator, step sequencer, glide and a classic Moog ladder filter and two ADSR envelope generators for sound shaping. 256 presets are available for patch storage, and all CV/Gate output settings are also saved for each patch. Production of the Subsequent 37 is limited to just 2000 units worldwide.
