The Modor DR-2 is a Belgian-made digital drum machine that stands out with its futuristic design and unique, raw sound character, distinct from classic analog units. At its core is a purely digital engine generating sound based on 18 synthesis algorithms, covering a spectrum from minimalist, dry hits to massive industrial and hardcore drums. Each of the six tracks can be freely assigned to any synthesis model, offering immense flexibility in kit design.

The DR-2 features a powerful sequencer designed for live performance. It offers up to 128 steps per pattern, Parameter Locks, a unique Reverse mode (reversing envelopes for specific steps), and advanced randomization options. The ergonomic front panel ensures intuitive control, and the 6 individual outputs can function as insert points for external effects, making the DR-2 a versatile tool for both studio and stage.
