Millennia NSEQ-HF is a high-frequency equalizer module for 500 Series racks. It uses the same HF section as the NSEQ-4, with Class A discrete J-FET amplifiers, so you can add that top end to a lunchbox without buying a full rack unit.
Air and presence, with a choice of centers
Six switchable frequency centers, 4.8, 5.8, 8, 10, 16 and 21 kHz, can be set to peak or shelf. The gain range is ±18 dB, or ±9 dB with the range switch engaged for finer moves. This covers a mild lift of presence at 5 kHz as well as air above 16 kHz on a vocal, mix bus or acoustic source.
Clean signal path
A selectable balanced/unbalanced input suits both studio and instrument sources, and a true hard-wire bypass switch lets you compare the processed and unprocessed signal without any circuit left in the path. Noise floor is -106 dBu.
