Millennia NSEQ-4 is a two-channel discrete solid-state parametric equalizer with four bands per channel and a Class A J-FET signal path. Millennia describes its input as the first all-discrete, true differential Class A buffer/amplifier in an equalizer, with only one active stage in the audio path.
Precise, repeatable curves
The low band offers fixed frequencies of 20, 34, 56, 100, 180 and 270 Hz, and the high band 4.8, 5.8, 8, 10, 16 and 21 kHz, both with peak/shelf switching. The two mid bands sweep 20 - 220 Hz or 200 Hz - 2.2 kHz and 250 Hz - 2.5 kHz or 2.5 - 25 kHz with a 10X switch. Gain controls are 21-step detented, so a setting is easy to note and reproduce.
Clean bypass for A/B checks
Each channel has a true hard-wire bypass, and every band can be bypassed separately, which makes it quick to check whether a move helps the mix.
