Lynx Studio LYN-AN24M24-USB is a configuration of the Lynx Aurora(n) AD/DA converter in a 1U case: 24 analog line inputs and 24 outputs (D-sub 25, 3 connector(s) for inputs and 3 for outputs) and an LM-A24 module with 2 line inputs and 4 monitor outputs on TRS jacks. A ready configuration instead of assembling card by card
The Aurora(n) has four module positions, and every module has to be matched to the rest of the setup. Here you get a ready configuration: 24 analog line inputs and 24 outputs (D-sub 25, 3 connector(s) for inputs and 3 for outputs) and an LM-A24 module with 2 line inputs and 4 monitor outputs on TRS jacks. According to Lynx the analog path has a dynamic range of 119 dB on the input and 120 dB on the output (A-weighted, -60 dBFS method). The SynchroLock 2 clock with a word clock input and three outputs on BNC lets you sync the rest of the studio.
Connection to the computer or network
The LT-USB card is a class compliant USB Audio 2.0 (high speed, USB 2.0) card with one USB Device port. It carries up to 16 channels at 96 kHz and up to 8 channels at 192 kHz, so the converter works without a dedicated driver on class compliant computers, and 32 and 64 bit drivers are available for Windows. The card can be updated over USB.
