Lynx Studio LYN-AN16P04-TB3 is a configuration of the Lynx Aurora(n) AD/DA converter in a 1U case: 16 analog line inputs and 16 outputs (D-sub 25, 2 connector(s) for inputs and 2 for outputs) and an LM-PRE4 module with 4 microphone preamps. The 24-bit conversion up to 192 kHz uses the same signal path Lynx applies across the Aurora(n) series, and the configuration is built at the factory. See Lynx in our Warsaw showroom.
A ready configuration instead of assembling card by card
The Aurora(n) has four module positions, and every module has to be matched to the rest of the setup. Here you get a ready configuration: 16 analog line inputs and 16 outputs (D-sub 25, 2 connector(s) for inputs and 2 for outputs) and an LM-PRE4 module with 4 microphone preamps. According to Lynx the analog path has a dynamic range of 119 dB on the input and 120 dB on the output (A-weighted, -60 dBFS method). The SynchroLock 2 clock with a word clock input and three outputs on BNC lets you sync the rest of the studio.
Connection to the computer or network
The LT-TB3 card is a two-port Thunderbolt 3 expansion card that supports daisy-chaining Aurora(n) and Hilo converters, up to six certified Thunderbolt devices plus a display, on both Apple and Windows computers.
