Lake People Phone-Amp G108 – true balanced desktop headphone amplifier with four power stages and a front-panel 4-pin XLR that’s fully functional (not just a convenience jack). It offers balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs, separate volume and balance controls with solid 25 mm aluminum knobs, a Mono/Stereo/Phase mode switch, and internally selectable PRE-GAIN so you can match virtually any headphone from 16 Ω to 600 Ω. Built with a toroidal transformer, large smoothing capacitors and comprehensive protection filters, the G108 delivers ultra-low noise and distortion with broadcast-grade reliability.
Thanks to its “True Balanced” topology (independent amplifiers for L+/L-/R+/R-), crosstalk is minimized and output swing is doubled, yielding wide soundstage and precise localization. Despite its compact size, G108 provides very high output power, long-term short-circuit proof operation and wideband frequency response, making it an ideal reference amplifier for studios, mastering rooms and demanding headphone enthusiasts.
