The sound of a live band
Mechanical, looped backing is the weakness of cheaper arrangers. The SD9 continues Ketron's philosophy with real recordings: up to 100 stereo Live Drums with time stretching, 150 Live Guitars (folk acoustic, electric, nylon) and new solo voices such as violin, flute, oboe, soprano, whistle and Peruvian flute, recorded without loops and with natural vibrato. Combined with 400 styles, including 140 Live styles, this delivers a rhythm and melodic section that sounds like a live band.
Live Modeling and a complete player
A musician needs tools for instant arrangement customisation without losing factory resources. Live Modeling lets you select hundreds of templates for Live Drums, grooves, bass, piano, guitar, synths and orchestral parts, and even import your own MIDI sequences. Style editing up to 128 bars allows building a pattern from scratch. A double player handles WAV, MIDI, MP3, MP4, AVI, CDG, PDF, the multitrack player plays 5+1 audio tracks, and DJ mode with tap tempo, sync and an FX pad rounds out stage work.
