K&M 18881 Stacker A is an additional tier for the Omega (18810) and Omega Pro (18820) keyboard stands, enabling a second keyboard, laptop or MIDI controller to be mounted above the main instrument. Adjustment of the tilt, depth and height of the second tier allows precise ergonomic positioning for individual needs and the dimensions of a specific instrument.
Expanding the keyboard rig without an extra stand
A keyboardist playing two instruments or combining a keyboard with a laptop needs a second tier within arm's reach without adding another freestanding stand. Stacker A mounts directly onto the columns of the Omega or Omega Pro stand, using the same precision steel tubing and clamping mechanisms as the base stand. Tilt adjustment of the second tier allows the upper instrument to be angled slightly toward the musician, reducing wrist fatigue during long sessions and performances.
Stability and compatibility with the Omega ecosystem
The Stacker A support arms are individually adjustable in depth and width, adapting to instruments of different sizes — from compact 49-key synthesizers to 88-key stage pianos. The 40 kg maximum load capacity covers any typical keyboard. Stacker A is one component of the Omega system: it can be supplemented with Stacker B (18882) to add a third tier, or with adapter 18814 enabling a tablet, microphone or sheet music holder to be mounted.
