Joranalogue Select 2 is two high-precision analog voltage and audio signal processors in a compact 6HP format. It is a versatile "Swiss Army knife" for modular synthesis, allowing you to create, switch, lock, invert, attenuate, mix, and subtract signals.

Each processor has two inputs, with the left one being used by default. A gate sent to the "select" input switches to the right input. The inputs are normalized to reference levels of +5V (left) and 0V (right).

Next is a high-quality sample-and-hold circuit with low drift. A gate at the "hold" input freezes the input voltage until the gate is released, and it remains stable for several minutes, unlike most analog circuits.

The signal path is completed by a gate-controlled polarizer/attenuator. The knob smoothly adjusts the output voltage from -1 (inversion) through 0 to +1 (unity). The "unity" gate disables inversion and attenuation. This unique feature allows for creating interesting gate-modulated signal effects.

Finally, if output A is not in use, it is mixed with output B, providing the ability to shift, mix control voltages, transpose notes, and more.
