Golden Age Project R1 ST is a stereo ribbon microphone that captures natural, three-dimensional sound with the smooth, vintage character of classic ribbon designs. The R1 ST features two matched ribbon motors positioned in a Blumlein X/Y configuration, each using a 50 mm, ultra-thin (2 µm) aluminum ribbon. The dual figure-eight polar patterns create an accurate and immersive stereo image with excellent off-axis rejection. With a wide frequency response and high SPL handling, this microphone is ideal for recording drum rooms, piano, strings, choirs, or any source where a detailed stereo image is desired.

Built with a robust metal housing, transformer-balanced outputs, and low-noise passive circuitry, the R1 ST combines vintage ribbon smoothness with modern reliability.
