Golden Age Premier GA-251 MKII is a premium large-diaphragm tube condenser microphone inspired by the legendary vintage ELA M 251, renowned for its open, silky highs and warm, detailed midrange. Hand-built with precision and upgraded components, the GA-251 MKII captures the smooth, three-dimensional character of the original while improving consistency, noise performance, and overall sonic stability for modern recording environments.

The microphone features a custom CK12-style dual-diaphragm capsule, a carefully selected NOS tube (ECC81/12AT7), and a custom AMI USA output transformer, delivering rich harmonics and exceptional clarity. The MKII version offers enhanced internal shielding, optimized tube biasing, and reduced self-noise, resulting in a more refined sound and better reliability. Its three selectable polar patterns — cardioid, omnidirectional, and figure-eight — make it versatile for vocals, acoustic instruments, room miking, and overheads.

Each GA-251 MKII is individually tuned, tested, and assembled with premium components to ensure authentic tonal depth and balance.
