Fusion 112 from Gallien-Krueger is a hybrid combo amplifier designed for bass players. It features a unique circuit using 3 x 12AX7 tubes that provide a characteristic warm dynamic and a wide frequency range. The 4-band active equalizer allows for precise sound balance adjustments. The overdrive switch, activated by a press, offers a natural softening of tube overdrive. The adjustable input trim control ensures optimal matching with the instrument, while the indicator system monitors the amplifier’s status – protecting against short circuits, overheating, and input signal overload. A comprehensive patch bay with both balanced and unbalanced connectors, along with a send/return effect, ensures high connection flexibility. The lightweight construction made of reinforced plywood with damping covering minimizes acoustic interference and guarantees the chassis’s reliability during transportation.
