Focusrite Scarlett OctoPre Dynamic is an 8-channel preamp expander that solves one specific problem: not enough mic inputs for a full band session or a multi-mic drum kit. Eight second-generation Scarlett preamps and conversion up to 192kHz fit inside a single 1U rack unit.

Compression on every channel, not just two

A soft-knee analogue VCA compressor on each of the eight channels, with a transparent mode for subtle dynamics control and a "More" button that doubles the ratio, gives dynamic control over an entire drum section or live session without adding eight separate compressors.

Expanding what you already have, not replacing it

Dual optical ADAT ports let you add eight mic channels to any interface with ADAT input, so a studio doesn't have to swap its main interface to record a bigger session.
