Focusrite RedNet X2P — a compact 2x2 Dante interface with two Red Evolution mic preamps, a stereo line output and a headphone amplifier, designed to mount directly on a mic stand wherever extra channels are needed.
Power, audio, clock and remote control all run over a single Ethernet cable — just a PoE-capable switch or injector, with no separate power run needed at the vocalist's or presenter's position. Two combo XLR/jack inputs accept mic, line or instrument level signals, conversion up to 24-bit/96 kHz with over 118 dB of dynamic range keeps signal quality in line with the rest of the Red family, and a built-in network switch lets you daisy-chain another Dante device without an extra hub.
An extra channel where a standard interface can't reach
A single Ethernet cable carrying PoE power, audio and control makes X2P a practical remote input point on stage, in a conference room, or out in the field — no multicore, no separate power supply at the microphone. Red Evolution preamp gain adjusts in 1 dB steps across a 0-68 dB range, and Air mode recreates the character of transformer-based ISA preamps, adding a 2 dB lift around 10 kHz and a 2 dB dip at 20 Hz relative to 1 kHz, with input impedance dropping to 2.2 kOhms.
Safe foldback for the artist, no risk of touching the gain
A built-in "more me" crossfader lets a performer balance their own local signal against the network mix in the headphones or line output, without pulling an engineer in for every request to hear the click louder. Local control lockout — separately for preamps and outputs — lets you leave X2P with the artist knowing they can't accidentally bump the mic gain, while the engineer keeps full remote control from RedNet Control.
