Features unique dynamic reversal where high-level signals become lower than low-level ones, plus lookahead processing. Ideal for sound engineers in recording studios. Enclosure (483 x 44 x 216 mm, 3.2 kg) with backlit meter and I/O transformers for warm tone.
2830Au uses original schematics with input/output transformers, side-chain compression, and variable attack/release control. Controls: Threshold, Expansion Ratio, Gain, Expansion Hold. Handles +4 dBu, low THD, high headroom. Upgrades: universal power supply, TRS/XLR connectors, unit linking. Hand-soldered for authenticity.
