Stick rebound instead of a dead surface
Playing sticks on a hard surface costs you control over double strokes — the stick does not come back, it stops where it lands. Six millimetres of soft but resilient silicone returns part of the strike energy, so rolls and ornaments are playable without forcing the motion from the wrist. The same layer protects the 16,000-point sensor matrix from the kind of point loading a finger never produces.
Dynamics read honestly across the whole range
The soft layer spreads pressure across more of the sensor field, so the move from a quiet ghost note to a full strike is tracked smoothly, with no threshold where the instrument suddenly jumps to maximum velocity. Its subtle light diffusion keeps the zones readable while you play.
