Elektron Digitakt II is a compact digital sampling drum machine with 16 audio and MIDI tracks in stereo or mono, 5 selectable audio machines, 5 filter machines, a sequencer with 128 steps per pattern or track, a multi-mode filter, computer integration, delay, reverb, and chorus.
With Digitakt II, you can sample sound in stereo to create complex rhythmic arrangements. Build beats on 16 tracks, ready for stereo and mono samples or MIDI. Choose from multiple filters for each track and utilize a wide range of effects and modulations. A Euclidean sequencer, extended 128-step sequence, sample playback, trigger modes, a vast sample library, and modular setup ensure huge possibilities in rhythm creation.
Digital drum computer and stereo sampler Digitakt II provides more power and sonic capabilities than the previous model. In addition to drums, it can create melodies and harmonies.
Sample external or internal sources with quantization or independently of tempo. Memory expanded to 30 minutes of stereo recording and 1000 project slots, allowing you to develop ideas without limitations.
Digitakt has evolved, offering a modular approach. Blend layers of the sonic landscape using 5 sample processing machines. Use Grid for slicing or Werp for inspiration. Tweak samples to the rhythm with Repitch and Stretch or apply One Shot for crisp hits. Select filters for each track. You have filter and amp envelopes, as well as 3 LFOs for modulations.
Transform sounds with built-in effects: delay, reverb, chorus, bit reduction, overdrive. Apply compression and master overdrive on the mixer.
The sequencer has grown to 128 steps. Use the Euclidean generator, conditional triggers. 16 levels of sensitivity, retrig, and sound merging.
Collect sounds into kits for quick access. The Song mode allows experimentation without overwriting. Deep control for instant parameter manipulation of all tracks. Activate keyboard mode for playing in a 10-octave range and 30 different musical scales.
16 tracks can be used for MIDI input/output and sending, so you can control a multitude of external instruments.
