Cre8audio Assembler

Cre8audio Assembler is a ten-channel analog mixer developed together with Pittsburgh Modular Synthesizers and built to handle both eurorack and line level signals. It runs as a desktop unit in the case it ships with, or as a 40 HP module inside a rack.

One place where the whole desk comes together

Semi-modular setups all end the same way: a few desktop boxes, a groovebox, a module, each with its own output at its own level, and the lot funnelled into an interface through a random splitter or a consumer mixer that flattens the dynamics. Assembler takes ten sources at once. Channels 1 and 2 carry the full toolkit, with high and low EQ, panning, two separate aux sends and a gain boost. Channels 3 through 6 drop the EQ in favour of quick level and pan work, while the 7/8 and 9/10 pairs handle stereo sources, with the left input normalled to the right so a mono source still lands on both sides without extra cabling. Every channel has three-stage LED metering, so you can see which source is running quiet and which one is starting to push.

Three effects loops instead of a patch-cable workaround

The three aux sends run post-fader and work with eurorack effects and ordinary guitar pedals alike. Aux 1 and 2 return in mono or stereo, aux 3 returns in mono, and each return offers up to 2.7x gain, enough to lift a quiet pedal signal or push it up to modular level. When a loop is not in use, its return doubles as an extra line input. Up to 20x gain boost per channel and a fully analog path let you drive the mix into gentle saturation rather than hard clipping, while the main and headphone outputs have independent levels and a separate cue mix, so you can build a monitor feed without touching the main output.
