Coil Audio CP-448 is a four-channel, linearly regulated 48V phantom power supply built specifically for compatibility with vintage preamps that do not tolerate modern switching power sources.

Safe power for old and new microphones alike

A DC blocking circuit isolates the phantom voltage from the input transformer, so the unit works with both classic tube preamps and modern gear. A slow ramp on the 48V line at power-on protects the delicate diaphragms of condenser mics from the voltage spike that cheaper supplies can send through as an audible thump in the monitors.
