Bose Sub 2

Bose Sub2 – a powered stage subwoofer built around a flat 10" × 18" RaceTrack driver, delivering frequency response down to 37 Hz with a maximum SPL of 123.8 dB continuous (129.8 dB peak) from a single slim enclosure. Sub2 connects to the Bose L1 Pro32 over one SubMatch cable, or runs as a standalone subwoofer with any PA system through its line inputs and outputs.

Cardioid Mode instead of fighting stage feedback

Placing two Sub2 units side by side and switching to Cardioid mode reverses the rear unit's polarity, cancelling bass energy toward the stage and steering it out toward the audience. For a vocalist working a condenser mic close to the subwoofer, that means less low-frequency pumping in the capsule and less feedback risk when monitor levels get pushed up. Four interlocking feet on each side let you stack two Sub2 units without a separate rack or dolly.

One cable instead of separate power and a crossover

SubMatch connectivity carries power, audio, and automatic EQ settings from the L1 Pro32 to the Sub2 over a single cable, so the subwoofer doesn't need its own mains outlet at the stage or an outboard crossover. For a musician setting up alone, that's one less cable to run and a single power point at the L1 Pro rather than two separate extension cords. When paired with another PA, the built-in two-channel mixer with selectable EQ presets (full bandwidth, HPF, S1 Pro match) lets you route a line-level XLR or 1/4" signal without an external passive crossover.
