BeesNeez Elly Studio is a large-diaphragm FET microphone with a K47 capsule, combining the warmth of the classic K47/U47 sound with the speed and simplicity of a solid-state mic.

K47 warmth without a tube power supply

The K47 capsule gives a near-linear upper-mid response with a gentle 2-3dB lift above roughly 2kHz and a gradual roll-off from around 17kHz, presence without harshness, good on vocals and voice-over. Standard 48V phantom power removes the need for a separate supply, and a max SPL around 130dB handles electric guitar and drums too.
