BeesNeez BU47 K7 is a part-for-part Neumann U47 recreation with the Beesneez K47 capsule instead of M7: a fuller low-mid and bottom-end response, closer to later-production U47 units from the end of the 1950s.

K47 instead of M7, same construction, different character

Neumann switched from the M7 to the K47 capsule late in the U47's production run, leaving the rest of the circuit unchanged. The BU47 K7 follows the same path: the same EF13 tube and BV08-T transformer as the M7 version, but the K47 capsule gives a more prominent low-mid and bottom end on the same cardioid/omni layout.
