Auratone 5C Super Sound Cube (Passive Pair, Wood Grain) – the modern reissue of the legendary “cube” reference monitor that has been used in studios worldwide for decades. This passive pair delivers a compact, full‐range 4.5″ driver in a sealed cabinet with wood-grain finish, designed to give you a realistic “real-world speaker” perspective on your mix. Ideal for checking translations and how your mix will sound on ordinary playback systems.

With a rated power handling of 25 W RMS (50 W peak) per speaker, an impedance of 8 Ω and sensitivity of 90 dB at 1 W/1 m, the 5C is compact yet capable. The frequency response spans approximately 75 Hz–15 000 Hz, giving you a focused reference range that highlights mids and upper bass rather than ultra-low extension. The sealed MDF cabinet construction and shielded driver make them suitable even close to screens or equipment racks.

Designed for use as a secondary or tertiary reference monitor (not primary monitors for full-range mixing), these little cubes excel at revealing mix flaws—especially in the mid-range—so you can confidently translate to radios, TVs, laptops and mobile devices. The wood-grain finish adds a classic aesthetic to your studio setup while maintaining pro-audio functionality.
