The 5C Active Super Sound Cube brings Auratone’s iconic monitoring philosophy into a self-powered design for the first time, preserving the revered midrange-focused response that made the passive version a studio essential for decades. Thanks to a dedicated compact Class-D amplifier developed in cooperation with Bettermaker, the active version delivers the same unmistakable sound signature with excellent transient response and clarity.
The closed MDF cabinet minimizes phase distortion and reflections, making these monitors ideal for critical listening, especially when judging the stereo image and balance. With 30 watts of continuous power and 50 watts peak per speaker, the 5C Active easily handles modern dynamic material. Balanced XLR/TRS combo inputs ensure seamless integration into professional setups, and the included external power supplies provide efficient and silent operation.
