A full production toolkit instead of a handful of effects

The Pro edition differs from the standard Analog Classics bundle in library scope — beyond the classic LA-2A and 1176 compressors and Pultec EQs, it adds reverbs from Capitol Chambers and Sound City Studios, the EL8 Distressor compressor, and instruments and synths. For a producer working solo, this removes the need to buy separate bundles for different stages of production, from tracking through mixing.

Scaling the system without swapping the central unit

The ADAT port adds up to 8 extra input channels, and Auto-Gain sets input levels across multiple channels at once without risking clipping.
