Antelope Audio Orion Studio Synergy Core 2026 is a rackmount Thunderbolt 3 and USB audio interface with 12 discrete preamps, FPGA and DSP processing for real-time effects, and deep routing. The 2026 edition adds Dual Host Streaming and built-in room correction, and the dealer bundle includes the Edge 360 measurement microphone.
A recording that survives a computer failure
The interface streams audio over Thunderbolt 3 and USB at the same time. If one connection or one computer fails, the other keeps recording the session. The same feature lets you work with two computers at once, for example tracking on one while mixing or streaming on the other.
Monitoring without the room in the way
Antelope Room Correction measures your speakers and room acoustics, generates corrective EQ curves and applies them in the Orion Studio control panel. Processing runs inside the interface, with sub-millisecond latency and no extra load on your computer's CPU. Edge 360, an omnidirectional measurement microphone, handles the measurement.
Two FPGAs and six DSPs run up to 144 mono instances of more than 50 Synergy Core effects modelled on classic studio hardware. You track through a compressor or EQ without native plugins and without latency.
