Akai Pro MPK Mini Plus II is a compact 37-key MIDI controller with pitch and mod wheels, eight RGB pads, eight encoders and a full-color display. One unit drives your DAW, plugins and outboard gear: a USB-C port, a MIDI DIN output and three CV/Gate outputs connect it to synths and modular systems.

Ideas on the track faster

The expanded arpeggiator, Chord and Note Repeat modes plus Glitch, Mutate and Strum help you find melodies, rhythms and progressions without drawing notes in an editor. The display shows parameters in real time, so you stay off the computer screen, and the controller fits in a backpack next to the laptop. Thirteen preset slots, eleven of them user presets, keep your setups ready for different jobs.

DAW and hardware control in one place

The controller comes with ready mappings for MPC 3, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase and FL Studio, plus NKS compatibility. The DIN and CV/Gate outputs drive synthesizers, and the bundle adds Studio Instrument Collection with over 1,000 sounds from AIR, Moog and Akai, plus Ableton Live Lite 12.
