ADAM Audio Mounting Bracket S2V is the original mounting bracket for ADAM Audio S2V monitors. It attaches to the top or the bottom of the cabinet and, together with ADAM accessories, lets you suspend the monitor from a ceiling, a wall or a supporting beam and tilt it toward the listening position. The metal bracket has a black powder-coated finish. See the S2V and ADAM accessories in our Warsaw showroom.

Monitors off the desk and on the listening axis

In a small room, stands and desk space eat the square meters you need for instruments and gear. A suspended monitor frees up the desktop, and the tilt lets you aim the speaker axis at your ears instead of guessing. The maximum tilt angle depends on the mounting hole you choose and the direction you tilt in, so plan the position dry before you drill into a ceiling. The bracket works with the ADAM Audio ceiling mount, wall mounting, telescopic ceiling mount and adapter plate.

Mounting: load, screws and inspection

The bracket is rated for speakers up to 13 kg. The package contains one bracket, two M8 x 25 round handle screws and two rubber plus two metal washers, so a pair of S2V needs two units. The manufacturer requires installation by a qualified specialist, only the original screws, and a check that the ceiling or beam carries the load. The bracket must not be exposed to vibration, and at least every 3 months the mounting hardware, washers and screw tightness have to be inspected.
