Lynx LM-DIG is an AES/EBU digital input and output module that expands Aurora (n) converters by 16 channels each way. It is not a separate box but a card fitted inside the converter — the Aurora gains a digital path without taking another rack unit.

When the analogue inputs run out and the session grows

You buy a converter for the rig you have, then a digital console, a second converter or a summing box with AES output arrives. Instead of replacing the Aurora you add the LM-DIG and get 16 AES/EBU channels each way on two D-sub 25 connectors with Yamaha pinout — the one most studio gear already uses.

Bit for bit, with no extra conversion

The AES/EBU path is balanced, transformer-coupled, 110 ohm and RF filtered, so the digital signal crosses the studio without collecting interference and without additional processing. Operation up to 192 kHz covers every realistic session format. The module can be retrofitted into an existing Aurora (n) -8, -16 or -24 after a free firmware update.
