The Fireface UFX+ is the flagship of RME’s interface lineup, offering unmatched flexibility and high-resolution audio performance for advanced recording, mixing, and monitoring setups. It features 94 input and 94 output channels across analog, ADAT, AES/EBU, and full MADI I/O. Both USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt™ connections are available, delivering ultra-low latency and minimal CPU usage on both macOS and Windows systems. New high-performance AD/DA converters and optimized analog circuits ensure a transparent and detailed sound, while four digitally controlled mic/instrument preamps provide up to 75 dB of gain and handle signals up to +18 dBu without a pad. The front panel offers two powerful headphone outputs with +19 dBu max level and ultra-low 2 Ohm impedance. DURec (Direct USB Recording) allows standalone recording of up to 76 channels directly to USB drives, now enhanced with second-generation hardware and improved compatibility. Integrated TotalMix FX enables comprehensive DSP-based mixing and routing, even in USB 2.0 mode, with full MADI access. Flexible clocking, Word Clock I/O, MIDI I/O, and support for the optional ARC USB remote complete this all-in-one studio solution.
