Wunder Audio CM50 FET S – a professional solid-state condenser microphone featuring an original Neumann M50-style spherical capsule. Incorporates an audiophile-grade MOSFET circuit delivering exceptionally low noise, superior detail retrieval, and linear characteristics across the entire dynamic range. This model is the direct successor to the CM50 FET used for recording soundtracks for the world's biggest motion pictures.

The CM50 FET Suprema features an M9 spherical capsule mounted in a 40 mm Lucite sphere, which eliminates standing waves larger than 40 mm and completely cancels the proximity effect. This results in an exceptionally natural omnidirectional character – no other microphone set to omni can achieve the naturalness of the CM50 S sound. The slanted grille with its unique profile minimizes resonances and standing waves, delivering pure, warm, and remarkably open sound. The MOSFET circuit provides a sense of purity on vocals and strings thought to be impossible in transistor amplification, while maintaining tonal consistency and clarity across varying signal levels.

This microphone has been used in Decca Tree configurations by scoring engineers such as Shawn Murphy and Tom Steel at the most prestigious sound stages in Los Angeles and Abbey Road. It has been featured on recordings for films including Star Wars: The Force Awakens, The Hobbit series, Harry Potter, and Marvel productions.
