Warm Audio WA-44 – faithful recreation of legendary 1930s RCA 44-BX ribbon microphone, delivering warm, vintage tone with rich mids, powerful bass, and tamed highs. Features custom 2.5-micron ribbon, neodymium magnet, and USA-made CineMag transformer for authentic character. Ideal for vocals, horns, drums, piano, and acoustic guitar. Figure-8 polar pattern provides excellent off-axis rejection with proximity effect for close-miking. Rugged metal construction weighing over 6 lbs, hand-tested in Austin, TX.

The device excels on loud sources with sultry tone, low sensitivity requires preamp (recommended Warm Lifter for +26 dB gain). Compatible with modern preamps, protected against phantom power.
