Two Notes Torpedo Captor X Pro is the brand's flagship digital load box, developed in partnership with Ampete Engineering. It combines switchable reactive and resistive load voicing with a precision programmable passive attenuator and onboard Torpedo processing, so one box handles amp volume control, cabinet simulation and the direct feed at the same time.

Loud amp, quiet room

The triple-voiced load architecture (Reactive Natural, Reactive Presence, Resistive) lets you choose how the amp reacts to the load — from a natural, full-sustain response to a flat, predictable one for amp capture work. The relay-controlled passive attenuator gives 13 attenuation steps plus mute and full speaker level, keeping the amp's dynamics intact even when playing late at night.

One cable, a full stereo signal

The True Stereo DynIR engine spreads two microphones (or static IRs) across the stereo field, while Dual Mono mode sends each mic to its own XLR output with independent post-FX. The Virtual Load Shaper corrects the impedance of the direct signal without touching the connected cabinet, and a mono Pre-FX Loop plus a stereo Post-FX Loop let you patch a compressor before the Torpedo stage and delay or reverb after the cabinet simulation. Captor X Pro runs fully standalone from the front panel, with deeper editing and extra DynIR cabinets available via Torpedo Remote over USB or wirelessly from a phone.
