SSQ JSJS3 is a 3-meter balanced TRS–TRS audio cable from Polish manufacturer SSQ, terminated at both ends with stereo 6.3mm jack plugs. Made in Poland with a lifetime manufacturer's warranty. Inside the cable run three conductors: two signal wires and a shield — the ground braid surrounding the signal conductors protects against electromagnetic interference, while the phase inversion of the second signal wire allows the balanced circuit to reject common mode noise. Cable outer diameter: 6 mm, dual-layer jacket with a copper strand braid at a minimum 90% coverage density — comparable to cables from manufacturers several times the price.
Balanced TRS–TRS connection and 90% braid coverage: interference rejection in a studio signal path
The JSJS3 is designed for balanced connections between equipment with TRS outputs and inputs: audio interface to studio monitors, mixer to active speakers, synthesizer line output to mixer line input. Copper braid coverage at a minimum of 90% effectively rejects electromagnetic induction from mains cables, switching power supplies, and other interference sources common in studio environments — without additional filtering. The 6.3mm TRS plugs are soldered with lead-free solder with a silver additive and protected by a heat-shrink sleeve providing mechanical strain relief at the cable exit point. Conductor cross-section: 0.23 mm². Total cable diameter of 6 mm strikes a balance between the rigidity needed for durability and the flexibility required in studio and live use. The PRO version of the JSJS series (JSJS3 PRO) is available with NEUTRIK connectors in place of the standard SSQ plugs.
