Solton TWA 15 Classic System is an active PA bundle combining the TWA 15 SUB active subwoofer with the passive HD 101 satellite speaker. The subwoofer's dual-channel Class D amplifier powers both the bass section (500 W continuous / 1500 W peak) and the HD 101 satellite directly (350 W / 4 Ω continuous, 1050 W peak) — no external amplifier required. A single signal cable into the subwoofer and a pole with the HD 101 on top is all it takes: a complete 2.1 PA in two components.
TWA 15 SUB — 15" subwoofer with Multi Bluetooth and 4 DSP presets
The 15" aaCRAAFT long-excursion driver on a 3" (75 mm) voice coil works in a 15 mm birch plywood bass-reflex enclosure extending to 35 Hz (-10 dB) at 99 dB sensitivity and a maximum SPL of 127 dB continuous / 133 dB peak. Four DSP presets adapt the system to different acoustic scenarios without manual tuning. Multi Bluetooth allows pairing multiple TWA 15 SUB units simultaneously to a single source — practical for stereo configurations without signal cables between subs. A switchable microphone input and Mix OUT XLR handle simple setups without a mixer. Factory-fitted 75 mm casters and two side handles make repositioning practical; the M20 pole socket takes the HD 101 satellite on top directly. Cover available separately as art. 12639.
HD 101 — passive 10" satellite powered from the sub
The passive HD 101 (art. 11013) with a 10" driver on a 2" (50 mm) voice coil and a 1.75" / 1" exit HF compression driver is driven directly from the TWA 15 SUB's satellite amplifier output via NL4. A passive 2.7 kHz crossover with PTC driver protection splits the bands without outboard electronics. The 90° x 60° user-rotatable constant-directivity horn weighs 13 kg at 320 x 518 x 293 mm. In a standard stack configuration — HD 101 on a pole above the TWA 15 SUB — the system has a minimal stage footprint and covers rooms of 150 to 200 people for speech and light live music.
