Solton IP 5 CX White

Solton IP 5 CX White (art. no. 11906) is an ultra-compact passive two-way 5" coaxial loudspeaker in a white multi-angle 10 mm plywood enclosure, designed for fixed installations where minimum visual impact is a requirement — front-fill in theaters and cinemas, near-field coverage in VIP zones, and distributed audio in restaurants, bars and conference spaces. At 2.6 kg and 185 x 185 x 170 mm it installs wherever a standard installation cabinet would be too large or too conspicuous.

5" aaCRAAFT coaxial driver — 100° x 100° conical coverage, distortion-free to 117 dB peak

The coaxial arrangement of the 5" aaCRAAFT woofer and 1" voice coil HF driver produces a nominal 100° x 100° conical coverage pattern — symmetrical in all planes with no difference between horizontal and vertical dispersion. This is a practical advantage in installations where cabinets are mounted at varying angles and precise audience targeting is not always possible. The passive 2.2 kHz crossover without PTC protection matches the two sections within the compact enclosure. The 45° monitor angle built into the base allows the IP 5 CX White to sit on a desk or floor as a near-field monitor without any additional adapters. Two NL4 connectors plus a terminal strip serve both installation cable runs and portable wiring. The 3/8" pole-mount socket accepts a standard microphone stand flange or small installation bracket.

U-bracket included, White finish — designed for aesthetically demanding spaces

The U-bracket included as standard in the delivery allows wall, ceiling or pillar mounting without purchasing separate accessories — a meaningful advantage in multi-point installations where mounting hardware costs add up quickly across many speaker positions. The White version (art. 11906) integrates into white ceilings, plasterboard walls and architectural enclosures far more cleanly than the standard Black version. Acoustic performance is identical to the Black variant (art. 11905) — the only difference is the finish.
