Solton aart T-15 A+ is an active two-way bi-amped loudspeaker built around a 15" Neodymium aaCRAAFT woofer and a Neodymium HF compression driver, driven by a dual-channel Class D bi-amp with integrated dual-channel DSP running FIR filtering. At 100 dB sensitivity (1 W/1 m) and a maximum SPL of 128 dB continuous / 134 dB peak it stands among the more powerful active 15" cabinets in its size class — a multi-angle birch plywood enclosure at 430 x 690 x 440 mm weighing 28 kg remains manageable for one person with dual side handles.

FIR DSP and 1.4" exit Neodymium HF driver — phase precision beyond standard IIR filters

The dual-channel DSP with FIR filtering corrects phase at the crossover transition in a way IIR filters cannot — the result is linear phase across the full coverage angle and tighter stereo imaging when running cabinets in pairs. The Neodymium compression driver with a 3" voice coil and a 1.4" exit horn (wider than the standard 1" exit) enables a lower crossover point with less dynamic compression in the presence range. The 15" Neodymium aaCRAAFT woofer on a 3" (75 mm) voice coil delivers 700 W continuous and 2800 W peak — substantial headroom at normal working levels where the cabinet rarely exceeds 70–80% of nominal power. Four DSP presets cover fullrange, MF/HF, stage monitor and installation scenarios without cable changes. The 90° x 60° constant-directivity horn rotates by hand between vertical and horizontal orientation without tools. Mic/Line input with high-resolution preamp and switchable Mix OUT handle zone chaining directly from the cabinet's rear panel. The dual-band limiter protects LF and HF drivers independently.

Stage monitor, installation top and standalone PA — one enclosure, three roles

The monitor mode DSP preset, multi-angle enclosure and seven M8 inserts make the aart T-15 A+ one of the few active 15" cabinets that genuinely works as a stage wedge, a flown top on the TU Frame bracket (art. 12522) or a wall-mounted installation speaker. The recommended bass partner is the aart SUB 18 A — both units connect directly without an outboard processor, forming a complete active PA system with a single signal cable feeding the whole pair.
