Sennheiser E 609 Silver is a dynamic supercardioid instrument microphone designed for close-miking guitar amps and cabinets. Thanks to its flat shape and rugged build, it’s perfect for face-on positioning right against the speaker grille, isolating the sound source and minimizing bleed from other instruments or stage noise. It also performs exceptionally well for miking drums, especially toms, delivering punchy and clear results.

The supercardioid pickup pattern ensures excellent rejection of ambient noise and feedback, making it ideal for live stage use. The integrated hum compensating coil reduces electromagnetic interference, providing clean and interference-free signal transmission. With its ability to handle high sound pressure levels, the E 609 Silver delivers rich, natural tone with exceptional presence — even in loud environments.

The microphone features a solid silver-colored metal body, built to endure the demands of touring and frequent handling. Its compact form factor allows it to be easily hung over amp cabinets without a stand. Included in the package are a microphone clip and a soft protective pouch for transport and storage.
