sE Electronics sE2200 is the latest version of the award-winning condenser microphone that has been a staple in professional recording studios for years. It features a hand-crafted 1-inch true condenser capsule with dual gold-sputtered diaphragms, ensuring exceptional clarity and sonic depth. The traditional Class-A electronic design (no integrated circuits) and a custom-built output transformer provide a classic musical character with superb weight and authority to the overall sound image.
The microphone offers remarkable versatility with its two-stage low-cut filters (80 Hz and 160 Hz) and attenuation pads (-10 dB and -20 dB), making it suitable for capturing even the loudest sound sources like brass instruments or electric guitar cabinets. Its robust all-metal chassis ensures efficient rejection of electrical interference, while the gold-plated XLR connector guarantees a loss-free signal connection. The package includes sE’s Isolation Pack, featuring a high-quality shock mount and an adjustable curved metal pop filter.
