The Interview Micro does not include a transmitter: it is a purpose-built holder designed exclusively for RØDE Wireless Micro transmitters.
Adapter, Not a Microphone — How It Works
The Wireless Micro transmitter slots directly into the Interview Micro's housing, with its built-in omnidirectional capsule taking over the role of a handheld reporter mic. Audio quality, frequency response, and GainAssist behaviour are identical to the lavalier clip configuration — only the ergonomics change. No cables, no additional power, no pairing required: pull the transmitter from the charging case, seat it in the adapter, and the setup is ready to go.
The included foam windshield cuts plosives and wind noise for outdoor use. The white colourway pairs cleanly with white Wireless Micro transmitters and works well in settings where discreet, aesthetically consistent gear matters — ceremonies, branded content, corporate events. Also available in black, red, blue, and orange to match any Wireless Micro configuration.
