PMC IB2S

PMC IB2S is a 3-way passive studio monitor with a 10-inch woofer, 27mm tweeter, and the proprietary Advanced Transmission Line phase inverter technology.

IB2S is based on the extremely successful IB1S with one significant driver change. The addition of a large mid-frequency driver with a soft dome PMC 75 increases imaging clarity to the level of larger monitors in this line without increasing the cabinet size. Its powerful characteristics and unmatched resolution across the entire sound spectrum make it an ideal reference monitor for any stereo or immersive project.

The use of the proprietary Advanced Transmission Line (ATL) bass driver loading technology, developed and patented by PMC, which consists of an elongated non-uniform labyrinth of closely spaced partitions inside the cabinet, provides more seamless bass integration, minimizing coloration and resonances.
